Kristen Merry

Kristen Merry is an experienced Creative Director with a strong background in the skincare and beauty industry. Kristen currently holds the position of Creative Director for LATHER's Custom Division, where they develop personalized care products for luxury hotels. In this role, they oversee the creation of custom branded collections for in-room, retail, and spa use.

Prior to their current position, Kristen worked as a Freelance Creative Director for their own business since 2007. During this time, they gained extensive experience in concept development, design, and implementation for various beauty brands, including Real Techniques, Freeman Beauty, Ecotools, and private label bath accessories.

Kristen also held the role of Creative Director at Paris Presents Incorporated, where they covered for the Creative Director during their maternity leave. In this role, they managed a team of designers and led various projects for mass retailers such as Target, Ulta, Walmart, and FiveBelow.

Additionally, Kristen has worked as a Creative Director for LATHER, where they directed a team of designers and developed print and digital solutions to support the brand's omni-channel efforts. Kristen also designed store windows, directed photo shoots, and implemented a more effective workflow process.

Kristen'sprevious experience includes working as the L'Oréal Creative Director for Baxter Of California, the Art Director for Merle Norman Cosmetics, a Freelance Designer at Ramp Creative, and a Senior Designer at Moncur Associates. Kristen started their career as a Designer at Liska + Associates.

Kristen Merry obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Graphic Design from the University of Michigan from 1997 to 1999. Kristen also pursued a BFA in Graphic Design from the same university, starting in 1996 and finishing in 1999.
