John Gilchrist

John Gilchrist has a diverse work experience that includes roles in scientific research and education. John currently works as a Senior Scientist at Latigo Biotherapeutics, Inc. since March 2022, and prior to that, they held the position of Scientist at the same company from April 2020 to March 2022. Before joining Latigo Biotherapeutics, Inc., John worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, San Francisco from May 2017 to April 2020, where their mentor was Lily Jan, Ph.D. John gained research experience as a Graduate Student at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from August 2011 to April 2017, under the mentorship of Frank Bosmans, Ph.D. John also has teaching experience as a Substitute Teacher at Academy School District 20 from August 2009 to May 2011. John began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Colorado State University from December 2007 to May 2009, working under the guidance of Alan Schenkel, Ph.D.

John Gilchrist has a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Colorado State University, which they obtained between 2006 and 2009. Following this, they pursued further education at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Cellular and Molecular Physiology between 2011 and 2017.
