Matthew Frates

Matthew Frates has a diverse work experience in the field of biopharmaceuticals and laboratory research. Matthew started their career in 2002 as a Laboratory Assistant at UC Davis, where they gained experience in various laboratory techniques. From 2006 to 2009, they worked at Sequoia Analytical and Facet Biotech, where they developed skills in environmental testing and animal studies. In 2009, they joined Theravance Biopharma and progressed through various roles, including Research Associate, Senior Research Associate, and Associate Scientist, gaining expertise in drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics. Their responsibilities included data analysis, in vitro and in vivo assays, and PK/PD analysis. In 2023, Matthew joined Latigo Biotherapeutics as a Senior Scientist.
