Nien-Du Yang

Scientist at Latigo Biotherapeutics

Nien-Du Yang has a diverse work experience in the field of research. They started their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at National Sun Yat-Sen University, where they worked on MRI research projects. They then became a Master's Graduate Student Researcher at the same institution, focusing on constructing a mathematical model of vascular endothelial cell membrane electrophysiology and calcium dynamics. They also conducted calcium imaging experiments. Later, Yang worked as a PhD Graduate Student Researcher at Washington University in St. Louis, conducting doctoral research in the field of electrophysiology. They also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant during this time. Currently, Yang is employed as a Scientist at Latigo Biotherapeutics, Inc.

Nien-Du Yang completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from National Sun Yat-Sen University from 2009 to 2013. Following this, from 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master of Science in Medical Science and Technology from the same university. Nien-Du then went on to further their education at Washington University in St. Louis, where they are currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Engineering from 2016 to 2023.
