Adriana Sanchez

Director Of Community Organizing at Latino Nonprofit Accelerator

Adriana Sanchez has extensive work experience in various organizations. Adriana is currently the Director of Community Organizing at the Latino Community Foundation, where they manage partnerships and coordinates Latino Giving Circles. Prior to this role, they worked as a Program Manager at the same organization, overseeing partnerships in California's Central Valley.

Before joining the Latino Community Foundation, Adriana worked at the Open Society Foundations as a Senior Program Specialist, Program Specialist, Program Coordinator for the Emma Lazarus II Fund, and Program Associate for the Global Drug Policy Program.

Adriana also served as the Scholarships and Student Services Coordinator at the Education and Leadership Foundation, where they coordinated the scholarship program and organized seminars and workshops for minority students.

Adriana has experience working with the Mexican Consulate in Fresno as a Community Education Coordinator and an Intern. In these roles, they supervised volunteers, taught literacy and primary/secondary school in Spanish, and maintained student records.

Additionally, they have worked as a Special Projects Intern at the Education and Leadership Foundation, a Fellow at the United Farm Workers Foundation, a Management Assistant at Sullivan Learning Systems, and an Intern at the Mexican Consulate in Fresno. Adriana has also been involved in voter registration efforts and conducted health assessments as an intern at Strengthening Our Lives (SOL) and Student Action with Farmworkers, respectively.

Adriana Sanchez holds a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Political Science, Latin American Studies, and Spanish from California State University, Fresno. Prior to that, they obtained a high school diploma from Tulare Western High School. Adriana later pursued further education and earned a Master's degree in International Relations from California State University, Fresno.
