Brendan Byrne

Brendan Byrne is a Senior Software Engineer at Latitude AI since January 2023, focusing on autonomy software infrastructure development in C++ for robotics runtimes in autonomous vehicles and serving on the open-source software committee. Previously, Brendan held positions at Argo AI from March 2017 to January 2023, initially as a Software Localization Engineer and later as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in lidar-based localization software. Brendan's earlier experience includes roles as a Robotics Researcher and Engineering Technician at the U.S. Army Research Laboratory, and as a Laboratory Technician at the Aerospace, Robotics, and Controls Laboratory.
