Brendan Miller

Brendan Miller's work experience starts with their current position as a Software Engineer at Latitude AI, where they began in November 2022. Before that, they worked at Argo AI as a Software Engineer from July 2020 to June 2023. In this role, they focused on lidar-based 3D object detection for autonomous driving and implemented deep learning models for their autonomous vehicle fleet. Prior to that, Brendan worked at Cisco for ten years, from July 2008 to June 2018, as a Software Developer. During their time at Cisco, they worked on server-side Java REST systems, handling call control for team collaboration tools. Brendan also gained experience with Cassandra, SIP, Spring, OAUTH, and REST, and did some web client development. Brendan's earlier work experience includes a Software Developer Internship at Google in 2007, a Software Developer Internship at Harland Financial Solutions in 2006, and a Software Developer role at Pacific Northwest Software in 2005. Brendan also had a Developer in Test Internship at Microsoft in 2003.

Brendan Miller obtained a Master's degree in Robotics (with a focus on computer vision) from Carnegie Mellon University. Brendan attended this institution from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, Brendan completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Washington from 2005 to 2008.
