Emile P. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They started their career as a Trainee at Université Laval in 2009, where they received extensive training in South American business. Emile then worked as a research assistant at Université Laval in 2011, contributing to projects in the field of hydrologic prevision.
In 2013, Emile took on the role of Trade Agent at Les Missions Commerciales, where they were responsible for strategic planning and market study in Brazil. That same year, they also worked as a Business Development Manager at Nutaq, representing the company and promoting its technical products to prospective customers.
Emile's experience in the automotive industry began in 2016 when they joined Hyundai MOBIS as a Software Engineer. In this role, they developed software for automated driving vehicle systems and designed software tools to support advanced R&D projects.
Emile then worked at Udacity as a Student Mentor from 2019 to 2020, providing guidance and support to students. They later joined FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles in 2020 as a Senior Software Integration Engineer, responsible for integrating software components for automobile systems.
In 2022, Emile joined Argo AI as a Software Firmware Engineer, working on firmware development. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Latitude AI, where they continue to contribute their skills and expertise to software development.
Emile P. completed their Bachelor's degree in Génie Physique (Physical Engineering) from Université Laval, from 2008 to 2013. In 2011-2012, they were also part of a Student Exchange program at USP - Universidade de São Paulo, where they studied Electrical Engineering.
Emile has obtained several additional certifications as well. In 2019, they completed the Udacity Self-Driving Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity. Emile also holds a certificate in Introduction to Systems Engineering from Coursera Course Certificates, obtained in October 2016. In 2011, they received a Certificate of Achievement from the TOEIC® Program. Additionally, since June 2014, Emile has been a member of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers).
