Nic Laura Tolbert

Laura Tolbert, NIC, is an experienced ASL interpreter and independent contractor with a diverse background in communication facilitation for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing consumers. Currently affiliated with LATN Language Solutions and CareVacations since May 2016, Laura effectively provides interpreting services in various environments, including cruise settings. With over 18 years of freelance experience in American Sign Language and Jamaican Sign Language, Laura holds several professional certifications, including RID Nationally Certified (NIC) and specific licenses in Michigan and Georgia. Previous experience includes serving as an Educational Sign Language Interpreter for the Fayette County Board of Education and management roles in the banking and childcare sectors. Laura graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and is dedicated to adhering to the RID Code of Professional Ethics.
