Yissania Sanchez

Yissania Sanchez has extensive experience in interpretation and community engagement within educational and healthcare settings. Currently serving as a Community Connector for the Cobb County School District since August 2012, Yissania focuses on linking community resources to parents and students, while also working as a Spanish Interpreter for the International Welcome Center to facilitate communication between staff and families. In addition, Yissania has been a Freelance Interpreter for LATN Language Solutions since August 2015, providing interpretation and translation services across various community assignments. Previously, from March 2012 to June 2014, Yissania worked as a Medical Interpreter and Clinical Care Partner at WellStar Health System, where training in medical interpreting was obtained. Yissania holds training in medical interpreting and translating from the WellStar Medical institute completed in 2014.
