Hoon Choi

Hoon Choi is a seasoned professional in the field of machine vision and machine learning, currently serving as a Sr. Fellow at Lattice Semiconductor since March 2015, focusing on robot and factory automation. Previously, Hoon held the position of Fellow, where responsibilities included developing vision accelerators and customer solutions utilizing machine learning technology. Prior to joining Lattice Semiconductor, Hoon was the Sr. Director of Architecture, specializing in machine learning technology and elliptic curve cryptography. Hoon's earlier experience includes a role as the Sr. Director of Digital Core Engineering at Silicon Image from October 2002 to March 2015, concentrating on SerDes, HDMI, and HDCP technologies. Hoon Choi earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology between 1995 and 1999.
