Jim Anderson

President & CEO at Lattice Semiconductor

Jim Anderson has been in the semiconductor industry for over 20 years. Jim started their career at the University of Minnesota, where they worked on developing new semiconductor materials. Jim then moved to LSI Corporation, where they worked on developing new networking solutions. In 2005, they were promoted to general manager and senior vice president of the networking solutions group. Jim oversaw the development of new products and the expansion of the company's product line. In 2014, they left LSI to join Avago Technologies as general manager and senior vice president of the networking solutions group. Jim oversaw the sale of the Axxia business to Intel for $650 million and the successful integration of the business into Intel. Jim then joined AMD as general manager and senior vice president of the computing and graphics business group. In 2018, they were promoted to president and CEO of Lattice Semiconductor.

Jim Anderson attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for both their undergraduate and graduate degrees in electrical engineering. Jim then went on to earn their MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management with a focus in marketing and strategy. After working in the industry for several years, Jim decided to return to academia and earned their MS in electrical engineering from Purdue University College of Engineering.
