Maxim Schmidt

Maxim Schmidt is a Field Application Engineer for EMEA at Lattice Semiconductor, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this role, Maxim spent over a decade at Saarland University, first as a Researcher specializing in Local-Dimming and Pixelpipeline based Algorithms within the Institute of Microelectronics from March 2012 to August 2023, and previously as a Student Research Assistant and Student Assistant in system administration. Maxim's academic qualifications include a Dr.-Ing. in Systems Engineering, a Master's Degree in Computer and Communications Technology, and a Bachelor's Degree in the same field, all obtained from Universität des Saarlandes, where studies spanned from 2008 to 2022. Education commenced at Gymnasium Ottweiler, culminating in an Abitur in 2007.
