Helen Ung

Helen Ung has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Currently, they are working as a Senior Software Engineer at Lattice since December 2021. Prior to joining Lattice, Helen held multiple roles at LinkedIn from 2016 to 2021. Helen served as a Staff Software Engineer from March 2021 to October 2021, a Senior Software Engineer from April 2018 to March 2021, and a Software Engineer from August 2016 to March 2018.

Helen also has experience working in academia. In 2016, they served as a Web Programming Teaching Assistant at the University of Washington, where they assisted students in a web programming course by leading discussions, providing support, and grading assignments. Additionally, they worked as a Web Developer for the UW Department of Bioethics and Humanities from September 2015 to June 2016, maintaining and enhancing the Bodemer Collection website.

Earlier in their career, Helen gained industry experience as an SDE Intern at Amazon.com in 2015. Helen also served as a Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Database Systems and worked as a Web Content Editor at the University of Washington in 2014.

Helen Ung completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science at the University of Washington from 2012 to 2016. In addition, they obtained a certification in Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in April 2021.
