Jānis Katkovskis

Jānis Katkovskis has extensive work experience in the banking and payment systems industry. Jānis started their career in 2000 as the Head of Call Center in Riga at First Data Corporation, a role they held until 2003. In 2003, they joined Latvijas Banka as a Payment Systems Senior Expert and later became the Head of Payment Systems Department in the Payment Systems Operations Division in September 2018. In 2011, Jānis briefly worked at Banca d'Italia as an Operational Expert.

Jānis Katkovskis obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University) from 1996 to 2000. Jānis then pursued further education and completed a Master's Degree in Project Management from Latvijas Universitate from 2001 to 2003.
