Jouni Rainio

Jouni Rainio possesses extensive experience in research and development, particularly in the field of coating resins and plywood products. Currently serving as a Senior Chemical Engineer at Latvijas Finieris AS since July 2018, Jouni focuses on resin product development, overlay and coating product processes, plywood product development, and project management. Prior to this role, Jouni held various managerial positions at Hexion Inc., Momentive Specialty Chemicals Oy, Hexion Specialty Chemicals Oy, and Bakelite Oy, overseeing R&D and technical customer service management related to coating resins and plywood. Jouni started as a Research Engineer at Tampella Papertech Oy and has a Master of Science degree in Wood and Polymer Chemistry from the University of Helsinki.
