Andrej Pozharskij has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Andrej started their career in 2001 at Baltijas Helikopters, where they served as a Maintenance Department Manager until 2007. In 2003, they joined Latvijas Gaisa Satiksme, where they held various roles, including Air Traffic Controller, ATC Operational Supervisor, and currently serves as the Deputy Head of Riga Air Traffic Control Centre since August 2020.
Andrej Pozharskij began their education at the University of Latvia Faculty of Business, Management, and Economics from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Professional degree in Finance and Financial Management Services. Andrej then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI) from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, from 2003 to 2005, Andrej attended the ANS Training Center, where they received Basic Training (ATC) in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations. Alongside their formal education, Andrej also obtained certifications such as an English Language Proficiency ICAO Level 5 from Latvijas Gaisa Satiksme and a Private Pilot License (PPL) (A) from the CAA of Latvia, although it has expired.
