Daniel Mahfoud

Daniel Mahfoud is a highly experienced radiologist and academic, currently serving as Associate Chief Medical Officer and MD at LAU Medical Center-Rizk Hospital since July 2010. Mahfoud holds leadership positions as Head of the Department of Medical Imaging at both LAUMC-RH and LAUMC-SJH and has a strong background in implementing medical imaging departments and accreditation processes. With expertise in ultrasound, body imaging, and Ob-Gyn imaging, Mahfoud also contributes to education as an Assistant Professor and founding Program Director for the residency program in Radiology at the Lebanese American University. Academic accomplishments include over two decades of involvement in residency program coordination for the Lebanese University and leadership roles in quality improvement initiatives. Mahfoud’s educational background includes advanced degrees in Health Care Administration and a Doctor of Medicine from Saint Joseph University of Beirut.
