Dr. Thorsten Ebel

Dr. Thorsten Ebel has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the life science and laboratory solutions industry. Dr. Thorsten is currently the Director of Area Sales - International at LAUDA. Prior to this, they worked at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, where they held positions such as Head of Business Planning & Execution for Science & Lab Solutions EMEA and Senior Director, Head of Research & Applied Commercial for Eastern Europe, Russia, Israel, and Turkey. Before joining Merck, they worked at Sigma-Aldrich for several years, where they held roles such as Senior Sales Manager for Eastern Europe, Russia, and South Africa, and Manager Sales Development for Central Europe & Export. Dr. Thorsten also has experience working at Life Technologies as a Sales Manager. Dr. Ebel has demonstrated expertise in leading complex organizations, developing sustainable growth strategies, and maximizing profit and loss.

Dr. Thorsten Ebel obtained their PhD in Molecular Genetics from The University of Freiburg, where they studied from 1987 to 1993.
