Tony Quinn

Tony Quinn is an accomplished operations director with extensive experience in the renewable energy and transportation sectors. Currently serving as Operations Director at Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult since September 2012, Tony is responsible for delivering a 15MW Nacelle Test Facility. Prior to this role, Tony held positions such as Director of Major Projects and Assets at NaREC, where contributions aligned with government low carbon economy objectives. As Operations Director at Nexus from 2004 to 2010, Tony oversaw all technical aspects of the Tyne and Wear Metro, significantly improving project delivery rates. Earlier career roles included Principal Project Engineer at NEI Peebles Limited and Commissioning Engineer at NEI Parsons Limited, where foundational skills in project management and engineering were developed. Tony holds an Engineer’s Degree from Liverpool.
