Paul Wright

Paul Wright is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in managing and growing engineering teams across various technology companies. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Engineering at LaunchDarkly since September 2022, Paul leads distributed teams responsible for Feature Management functionality and the global Flag Delivery Network. Prior to this, Paul held the role of Director of Engineering at GitHub, where leadership focused on Git storage and access in a post-Microsoft acquisition context, and served as Senior Engineering Manager at Etsy, where responsibilities included transitioning to engineering management and establishing new teams. Contributions as a Senior Software Engineer at Etsy involved the co-design of a new API framework. Early career roles included positions at Firebox.com, Tribal Internet, and Adder Solution, as well as a leadership role as President of the University of Surrey Students' Union. Paul Wright earned a degree from the University of Surrey.
