Java Back End Developer

We seek a skilled and experienced Back End Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong hands-on background in Java development, database management, and demonstrate a willingness to be trained and act as a QA when needed. A keen orientation to detail and a solid business understanding are essential soft skills for this role.

What You Will Do:

• Develop robust and scalable software applications using Java, with a preference for version 11 and above.
• Design and manage relational (PostgreSQL) and/or document databases, including data modeling and querying using SQL.
• Actively participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Ensure applications are free of common coding vulnerabilities and adhere to standard security practices.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-geographical teams that include developers, testers, and product managers.
• Positively contribute to the improvement of the team’s quality, efficiency, and capability.
• Follow and contribute to your team’s processes, best practices, methodologies, and guidelines.
• Be willing to get trained and perform QA tasks as required to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with building secure, scalable, performant Java/Spring applications (version 11 and above).
• Experience working with Spring Boot is required.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and/or document databases, including data modeling and SQL querying.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong orientation to detail and business understanding.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Knowledge/experience in Apache Camel/Integration including basic routing, error handling, split-aggregate, and dynamic routing.
• Knowledge of web services protocols (SOAP, JSON, Rest API).
• Understanding and experience with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of Angular, React, Struts, or similar front-end technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant certifications.
