Jake Maccoby

Jake Maccoby is a speechwriter and communications strategist, and the founder of JDMaccoby Strategies.

Following four years working in Massachusetts state government and in public affairs at SKDKnickerbocker, Jake served on President Barack Obama’s debate preparation team during the 2012 presidential campaign. After the election, Jake worked at the U.S. Department of Justice as Chief Speechwriter and Strategic Communications Advisor for Attorney General Eric Holder, and later for Attorney General Loretta Lynch. He was a policy advisor on Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, participating in debate preparation and speechwriting, and developed and led a media company focused around former U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara – with properties in podcasts, text, video, and live events – before founding JDMaccoby Strategies in 2018.

Today, Jake works with national nonprofit, corporate, and political clients, advises communicators, and assists public figures across the country. He has appeared regularly on cable news channels including CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, HLN, and CNBC.
