Heather McPherson

Heather McPherson is the University Secretary & General Counsel at Laurentian University. Heather has held this position since December 2021. Prior to that, they were Acting University Secretary from March 2014 to December 2021.

From July 2013 to October 2013, Heather was a freelance editor and edited the novel 'Concealed' by Victoria Michaels.

From March 2012 to February 2014, Heather was the Shift Lead at SUZY (YM Inc). From May 2011 to December 2011, they were the Assistant Manager at SUZY (YM Inc).

From May 2010 to December 2010, Heather was a Research Assistant at Lakehead University.

Heather McPherson attended Lakehead University, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Heather'story. Heather then went on to Western University to earn their Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS). Heather returned to Lakehead University to complete their Bachelor of Education (BEd) in Intermediate/Senior Education. Heather is also certified from the Ontario College of Teachers as a Member in Good Standing.

Heather McPherson works with Susan Manitowabi - Interim Associate Vice-President, Serge Demers - Associate Vice-President, and Brent Roe - Associate Vice-President. Heather McPherson reports to Robert Haché, President and Vice-Chancellor.
