Tushar Tomar, PhD, sMBA, CAPM®

Tushar Tomar, PhD, sMBA, CAPM® has a wealth of experience in the field of bioanalytics and scientific research. In 2022, they began working as Director of Bioanalytics for LAVA Therapeutics N.V. Prior to this, they were Director of Scientific Research Services and Project Leader at PamGene International B.V. from 2019 to 2022. In the same year, they were also a ScientistMBA Trained Associate at Cheeky Scientist. From 2013 to 2017, they were an EACR Ambassador for the European Association For Cancer Research. During this time, they were also a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Netherlands Cancer Institute from 2017 to 2019. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Scholar (PhD) at Universitair Medisch Centrum Groningen (UMCG). From 2014 to 2017, they were a Financial Officer for the GSMS PhD Development Conference Committee. Lastly, from 2012 to 2014, they were the President of the Groningen Indian Students Association (GISA).

Tushar Tomar holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Medical Oncology from the University of Groningen (2011-2015), a Master's Degree in Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Gronington (2009-2011), and a Bachelor in Pharmacy from DIPSAR, University of Delhi (2005-2009). Tushar has also obtained several certifications, including a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute (2020), Selling to Executives from LinkedIn (2020), Artificial Intelligence for Project Managers from LinkedIn (2020), Storytelling with Data from LinkedIn (2019), EU driving license from RDW (2018), Good Research Practices: GCP/GLP from the University of Groningen (2017), Writing in the Sciences from Stanford University (2014), Microbiological Safety certified researcher (as per Dutch Law, VMT) from the University of Groningen (2012), and Article 9 of the Dutch 'Wet op de dierproeven' (Experiments on Animals Act) and the (European) FELASA category C from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands (2011).
