Maria Vernaza

Maria Vernaza has a diverse work experience. Maria is currently the Creative Director at LAVALENTINA Design, a role they have held since September 2023. Before that, they founded Slow in August 2023. Maria also worked at Vici Mare from 2018 to the present, where they held various roles such as Finance Manager, General Manager, Registered Representative, Community Manager, Graphic Designer, Co-Founder, Brand Designer, Product Designer, Creative Director, and Production Manager. Additionally, Maria had a summer internship at AEI SPACES in July 2014.

Maria Vernaza attended Colegio Nueva Granada from 2002 to 2016. In 2015, they participated in a summer program in Architecture at Parsons School of Design - The New School. From 2016 to 2022, they studied at Universidad de Los Andes, where they obtained a Bachelor of Architecture - BArch degree in Design and Applied Arts. In 2020, they also participated in a study abroad program at the University School of Design and Engineering of Barcelona. Additionally, in May 2020, Maria Vernaza obtained a certification in "Iniciación y Planificación de Proyectos" from TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY.
