Douglas Hilton

Douglas Hilton has extensive experience in the technology field, with a focus on software engineering and data science. Douglas is currently serving as the VP of Engineering at LavaMap since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Science Fellow at NYC Data Science Academy from June to September 2020. Hilton also spent a significant portion of their career at S&P Global Market Intelligence, where they held various roles. Douglas served as a Senior Lead Software Engineer from March 2016 to April 2020, a Lead Software Engineer from March 2013 to March 2016, a Senior Software Engineer from March 2011 to March 2013, a Software Engineer from March 2010 to March 2011, and a Database Administrator from September 2008 to March 2010.

Douglas Hilton attended Cornell University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Their studies focused on Physics, Math, and Philosophy.
