Verena Brucklacher-Waldert

Verena Brucklacher-Waldert is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research operations, financial governance, and scientific leadership. Currently serving as Head of Research Operations at Laverock Therapeutics, Verena leads gene editing, cell biology, and platform development functions. Previous roles include Head of R&D Services and Head of Immune Cell-based Services at Revvity and Horizon Discovery, where Verena spearheaded the expansion of the immunology platform and established a globally recognized immune-cell-based services team. As a Non-Executive Director and Treasurer at ELRIG UK, Verena oversees financial strategy and governance while also contributing to the scientific community through initiatives like the ELRIG Research & Innovation 2022. Verena holds a Chartered Manager Fellow designation and a Doctorate in Clinical Neuroimmunology, along with multiple degrees in neuroscience and biology.
