Lauren Barker

Lauren Barker has over 13 years of work experience in various marketing and events roles. Lauren is currently the Head of Marketing and Design at Lawcris, where they lead the marketing department and has introduced a design department to support customers and facilitate business growth. Lauren is responsible for developing and executing marketing and communications strategies, maintaining a high profile for the company, creating effective events, managing budgets, and producing analytical reports.

Prior to their current role, Lauren was the Events Marketing Manager and Festival Director at Underneath the Stars Festival CIC, where they organized a weekend family festival for 4000 people. Lauren also worked as the Events Marketing Manager at Land Securities, creating and delivering branded events and collaborating with local businesses and blue-chip clients.

Lauren has experience in the retail industry as well, having worked as the European Marketing & Event Manager at Lush Limited, where they launched their responsive website in the UK and Europe, and as the Event Marketing Manager at We are Vista - Communications Agency, where they provided marketing and support for major events.

Lauren has also worked as an Exhibition Manager at JNM Exhibitions, specializing in 3D CAD designs for clients, and as an Event Manager at The Presentation Group (UK), supporting European pharmaceutical events.

Lauren's career in events started at Presentation Design Services Ltd, where they worked as an Event Assistant, gaining experience in drapemaking, prop making, lighting, sound, and onsite event management.

Lauren began their career at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, working as a Theatre Assistant in the costume and props department.

Throughout their career, Lauren has demonstrated expertise in event management, marketing strategy, budget management, stakeholder collaboration, and creative design.

From 2004 to 2007, Lauren Barker attended The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, where they earned a BA Honours degree in Theatre and Performance Design. Their field of study was Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology.
