Andrea MacÍas Aizpuru

Andrea Macías Aizpuru has a strong background in legal work, with experience in providing substantive legal guidance on complex agreements, overseeing operations related to AI-assisted contract review technology, and developing and implementing playbooks and contract interpretation. Andrea has worked as a Director of Legal QA at LawGeex since 2018. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Associate Attorney at Iberbrand, S.C. from 2014 to 2017, where they represented clients involved in intellectual property litigation matters, trained lawyers, and handled prosecution and enforcement actions. Andrea also worked as an Attorney at Law at Jalife Caballero y Asociados, S.C. from 2011 to 2014.

Andrea Macías Aizpuru began their education by completing high school at Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2005 to 2008. Andrea then pursued a Bachelor of Laws degree at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México from 2008 to 2012. In 2012, Andrea participated in an exchange program at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), focusing on International and Environmental Law. Following this, they obtained a Degree on Trademarks, Patents, and Copyrights from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in 2013. In 2015, they completed a Degree on Amparo Trials from the same institution. Most recently, Andrea attended Tel Aviv University from 2017 to 2018 to earn a Master of Laws (LLM) degree specializing in Law and Technology.
