Kim Adamson

Kim Adamson is an experienced educator and former marketing professional, currently serving as a Social Science Teacher for grades 7-8 at Lawndale Elementary School District since August 2020. Prior to this role, Kim worked as a Social Science Teacher for grades 6-8 at Intellectual Virtues Academy and as a Teacher Resident for grade 10 at Aspire Public Schools. Kim also has experience as an Assistant English Teacher in France. In December 2023, Kim transitioned to a role as a Program Supervisor at Alder Graduate School of Education, focusing on instructional content coaching for Master's candidates in Social Studies. Kim’s previous professional background includes significant marketing roles, including Product Marketing Manager and Associate Brand Manager at The Walt Disney Company, and various positions at Publicis Groupe and Wunderman. Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies & Sales Marketing from the University of Washington and a Master of Arts in Education, Curriculum and Instruction from the University of the Pacific.
