Alberto Silveira

Alberto Silveira has a wealth of experience in the software engineering field, having worked for a number of companies over the past 15 years. In 2007, they began their career as a Senior Software Architect/Team Lead/Sr. Developer for Montefiore Information Technology. Alberto then moved on to SightSpan, Inc. in 2009 as a Software Architect/Developer. In 2010, they began working for Kaplan as a Technical Leader. From 2012 to 2014, they worked for Amplify as a Technical Leader and then moved on to OnDeck as a Sr. Director of Software Engineering. In 2016, they began working for Schoology as Head of Engineering and then moved on to PowerSchool Group LLC in 2019 as Head of Engineering at Schoology. Most recently, in 2020, they began working for LawnStarter as Head of Engineering and has also been the Author of "Building and Managing High-Performance Distributed Teams".

Alberto Silveira completed a 5 year degree in Computer Science from Universidade do Vale do Itajaí in 2004. In 2010, they obtained a Master of Business Administration from Kaplan University with a focus on Core Management. In 2014, they completed a course on Managing Yourself and Leading Others from Harvard University. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate of Completion from AnDevCon: The Android Developer Conference in November 2014 for 23 hours of Android development training.
