Lauren Mayumi Brodsky is an experienced education professional specializing in learning design, assessment, and curriculum development. Currently serving as the Learning and Assessment Lead at The Learning Design Group at the Lawrence Hall of Science since January 2010, Lauren collaborates on the design and implementation of assessment systems while leading a team that focuses on understanding student learning over time. Lauren also contributes expertise as a Research and Assessment Specialist at the Lawrence Hall of Science, UC Berkeley, since September 2018, where involvement in grant-funded research projects continues. Prior roles include Researcher at Edexcel & Pearson UK, where assessment of the diploma qualification system for England was conducted, and Science Curriculum Developer at The Learning Design Group in 2005-2006, contributing to the development of various educational curricula. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Education from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics-Mathematics from Brown University.
