Lee Bishop is an accomplished educator and leader in the field of biotechnology and science outreach, currently serving as the Biotechnology Lead at the Lawrence Hall of Science, UC Berkeley since March 2017. In this role, Lee has been instrumental in creating The Biotech Learning Lab and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance educational experiences. Prior experience includes serving as a Curriculum and App Specialist, where Lee developed NGSS-aligned curricular units and designed content across various science disciplines. As the Education and Outreach Leader at the Center for Sustainable Nanotechnology, Lee coordinated outreach efforts and public engagement initiatives. Additional roles include co-founding Nerd Nite, teaching General Chemistry at Madison College, and facilitating science communication through blogging. Lee holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.S. in Chemistry, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Case Western Reserve University.
