Aaron Ward

Aaron Ward is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations, emergency management, and strategic leadership. Currently serving as the Deputy Principal Associate Director for Operations & Business at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory since October 2018, Aaron provides executive oversight for business services and operational support functions. Previous roles include Associate Director of Infrastructure & Operations and Department Head of Emergency Management, focusing on safety, infrastructure reliability, and public safety strategies. At Berkeley Lab, Aaron held positions as Department Head of Utilities & Maintenance Operations and Deputy Department Head of Protective Services. Prior experience with the Federal Emergency Management Agency involved directing coordinated federal responses to significant disasters. Aaron also served as Deputy County Administrator for Yuba County and Superintendent of Public Safety for California State Parks. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from John F. Kennedy University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of San Diego.
