Angela Cook

Angela Cook is a seasoned professional with extensive experience at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory since April 2003. Currently serving as Associate Program Director and Associate Division Leader for Stockpile Systems, Angela has also held leadership roles such as AF Reentry Systems Group Leader and Weapon System Manager, along with various acting positions in program and division leadership. With a background in mechanical engineering and system design, Angela's expertise encompasses managing high-stakes programs related to High Energy Density Physics and overseeing complex defense systems engineering projects. Educational credentials include a Graduate Certificate in System Design and Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University. Prior experience includes internships at Precision Castparts and Boeing, as well as serving as a technical advisor to the United States Air Force.
