Brent Frye

Brent Frye is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in incident response, application engineering, and systems administration. Currently serving as a Cybersecurity Engineer III at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory since July 2020, Brent holds a Department of Energy Q-level clearance and has expertise in RSA Archer application support, Splunk Cloud alerting development, Ansible automation, and deployment of network detection devices. Previous roles include security positions at Apple, Oracle, Washington Hospital Healthcare System, Providence Health & Services, and Cerner Corporation, where Brent contributed to security operations, compliance audits, and the development of security policies and technical controls. Brent earned a Master of Science in Information Technology from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Science in Information Networking and Telecommunications from Fort Hays State University.
