Teija Isotalo

Teija Isotalo currently serves as an Antibody Production Scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, a position held since December 2023. Prior experience includes various roles at Alector, spanning from Research Associate to Research Associate II between February 2021 and November 2023. Teija also worked as a Biological Researcher at the University of Helsinki from September 2018 to October 2020 and completed a trainee position at the Finnish Museum of Natural History LUOMUS in mid-2020. Other notable roles include Office Manager at Vinciguerra Construction, Student Research Assistant in Professor Mackenzie Zippay's Lab, and Site Director at Boys & Girls Clubs of Marin and Petaluma. Teija's earlier experience includes consulting as a Utility Forester with ACRT and interning at Safari West. Teija earned a Master’s degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Helsinki (2018-2020) and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Sonoma State University (2012-2016).
