Amy Rasley is a Biomedical Scientist and Senior Laboratory Coordinator at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory since October 2004. In this role, Amy oversees experimental design, data analyses, and interpretation while supervising a team of scientists with expertise in biostatistics, biophysics, microbiology, bacterial pathogenesis, molecular biology, and immunology. Prior to this position, Amy was a Graduate Student at UNC Charlotte from 2000 to 2004, conducting research on the role of microglia and astrocytes in CNS inflammation during infections, particularly during late stages of Lyme disease. Amy holds a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, completed postdoctoral research in Immunology at the same institution, and earned a Graduate Certificate in Homeland Security and International Affairs from Texas A&M University in 2010.
