Christine Zacharia

Christine Zacharia currently serves as a Clinical Preceptor at Lawrence Technological University since September 2022 and holds the position of Clinical Preceptor at WVU Hospitals — Ruby Memorial Hospital, as well as at Midwestern University and MUSC. Additionally, Christine is the Mid-Atlantic Regional Director and Director of Perfusion at Comprehensive Care Services and the Director of Perfusion at WVU Heart and Vascular Institute since April 2018. Previous roles include Director of Perfusion at WVU Medicine and Senior Perfusionist positions at Allegheny Health Network and Columbia University Medical Center. Christine's career began as a Pediatric Perfusionist at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital and as an ECMO Technician at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Christine earned a Bachelor of Science in Perfusion Technology from Duquesne University between 1998 and 2001, specializing in cardiopulmonary bypass procedures for patients across all age groups.
