Imad H. Makki

Imad H. Makki, Ph.D., serves as a Manager and Technical Leader in Advanced Controls & Intelligent Systems at Ford Motor Company since January 1994, focusing on enhancing vehicle health monitoring and connected diagnostics to boost customer experience and reduce vehicle downtime. Additionally, Imad holds roles as an Adjunct Faculty Lecturer I at the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a Visiting Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Lawrence Technological University, where graduate courses in controls are taught. Prior experience includes serving as the Assistant Dean for Research Administration at Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar from December 2006 to September 2009. Imad earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Wayne State University and holds both a BS and MS in Engineering from the University of South Florida.
