Taylor Cutajar is an Athletic Trainer at Lawrence Technological University. Taylor has previous experience working with the Detroit Lions, North Carolina State University, and Ohio University. In their current position, they oversee all aspects of sports medicine services for the school's football team.
Cutajar began their career as a Wellness Intern at Compuware in 2012. Taylor then became an Athletic Training Intern with the Cleveland Browns in 2013. In 2014, they began working as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Ohio University. Taylor worked with the university's football team and also volunteered with the wrestling and men's basketball teams. Cutajar left Ohio University in 2016 to become a Seasonal Athletic Trainer with the Detroit Lions. Taylor then worked at North Carolina State University as an Athletic Trainer before returning to Lawrence Technological University in 2017.
Taylor Cutajar has a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Ohio University. They also have a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training/Trainer from Western Michigan University. They are certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) and Corrective Exercise Specialist. They are also certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Finally, they are certified by the American Heart Association as a BLS Instructor.
Taylor Cutajar works with Kevin Wemyss - Women's Bowling Head Coach, Mike Alfonsi - Athletic Trainer, and Brent Beck - Athletic Trainer. Taylor Cutajar reports to Scott Trudeau, Director, Recreation, Athletics & Wellness.
