Constance Kassor

Associate Professor, Religious Studies & Special Assistant at Lawrence University

Constance Kassor currently serves as the Special Assistant to the President at Lawrence University, a role undertaken since September 2022 with funding from the ACM Mellon Academic Leadership Fellows Program. Kassor collaborates with various stakeholders to enhance student readiness for future careers and post-graduation life. In addition, Kassor holds the position of Associate Professor at Buddhadharma: The Practitioner's Quarterly and previously served as Book Reviews Editor at Lawrence University from 2016 to 2022. Kassor's academic journey includes serving as an Assistant Professor at Smith College from January 2013 to July 2016 and as a Visiting Lecturer. Kassor obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Religion/Religious Studies from Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Smith College.
