Teddy Bettencourt

Teddy Bettencourt is an experienced professional with a diverse background in account management, marketing, animal care, and environmental conservation. Currently serving as a Key Account Manager at Lax.com and as Marketing Director for the US Virgin Islands Lacrosse Association, Teddy has previously held roles as a bartender at La Tapa and Drink St. John, as well as an Animal Care Manager and Customer Service Manager at Zen Habitats, Inc. In animal care roles at Zoo New England, Teddy contributed to animal care routines and public education initiatives. Teddy's early career involved environmental fieldwork, including monitoring piping plover populations and conducting sea turtle conservation projects in Costa Rica. Teddy holds a Bachelor of General Studies in Earth and Environmental Studies from the University of Michigan and was a member of the university's Men's Lacrosse program.
