Darren L.

Darren L. has extensive work experience in various roles within the security and identity solutions industry. Darren is currently the President at Laxton, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as the SVP Sales, Americas at Laxton starting from June 2021.

Before joining Laxton, Darren worked at HID Global from 2018 to 2021. Darren'sroles at HID Global included Sr. Director Strategy and Business Development from January 2019 to June 2021, and Business Development Director from September 2018 to January 2020.

Prior to their time at HID Global, Darren worked at De La Rue from 2012 to 2018. Darren'svarious roles at De La Rue included Business Development Director from July 2017 to July 2018, Regional Sales Director from April 2016 to June 2018, Vice President Solutions, North America from August 2012 to September 2017, and Interim Global Business Development Director from August 2016 to July 2017.

Before their tenure at De La Rue, Darren held positions at De La Rue Global Services - Brand Protection as a Project Manager in 2002, and at De La Rue International Ltd. as a Senior Project Manager from January 2000 to November 2001. In this role, they were responsible for establishing the Mexico office for De La Rue Identity Systems and overseeing a major distributed government project.

Darren L. attended The University of Salford from 1991 to 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Languages & I.T. Darren obtained a certification in "Humble Inquiry: The Gentle Art of Asking Instead of Telling (getAbstract Summary)" from LinkedIn in December 2019.
