Kirsten Wheeler has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Call Centre Agent at Merchants from January 2013 to January 2015. Kirsten then joined Urbian in February 2015 as an Office Manager for six months. Subsequently, Kirsten took on the role of a Quality Assurance professional at Urbian from September 2015 to April 2017, where they were responsible for creating accurate user stories based on project scope. Kirsten then transitioned to a Project Manager position at Urbian in May 2017, focusing on ensuring project deadlines were met and identifying and addressing any obstacles. Kirsten's progress continued as they joined Laxton Group in March 2020 as an Assistant Project Manager for one year. Kirsten then returned to Laxton in June 2021, this time as a Project Manager. Currently, Kirsten is still working in that position, which they started in January 2022.
Kirsten Wheeler began their education journey in 2005 at Heritage College, where they pursued a Matric degree. Their field of study included English, Afrikaans, Maths, Computer Programming, Geography, Physics, and Biology. Kirsten completed their matriculation in 2009.
In 2014, Kirsten enrolled at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computing. Kirsten studied Computer Science for the duration of their degree program, which lasted until 2020.
In 2021, Kirsten attended the Red & Yellow Creative School of Business for a short period, focusing on User Experience Design (UX).
