Daniel Marin

Daniel Marin has a diverse work experience ranging from IT management positions to director roles. Daniel is currently the Head of Information Technology Operations at Laya healthcare since May 2023. Prior to that, they were the Group IT Security Operations Manager at Athora Holdings Ltd from October 2022 to April 2023. Daniel has also worked at AerCap Ireland Limited as the Director of IT Service Delivery and later as the Head of IT Service Delivery from July 2016 to April 2022. Daniel has held various other positions in companies such as Byrne Looby Partners Ltd, SMBC Aviation Capital, Smartbox Experience Ltd, and Saongroup. Daniel started their career as an IT Manager at the Irish Rugby Football Union in October 2002.

Daniel Marin has a diverse education history. Daniel obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Northumbria University in 1993-1994. Prior to that, they completed a degree in Marketing and Industrial Negotiation from IDRAC International Business School from 1992 to 1993. In 1989-1991, they pursued an Engineer's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from University Charles Poncet in Cluses, France. Daniel'searlier education includes an A Level degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies from Louis Lachenal Technical College in Annecy, France, which they completed from 1986 to 1989.

Additionally, Daniel Marin has obtained various certifications to enhance their professional skills. Daniel obtained the Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in May 2022, the ITIL Managing Professional (MP) certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in May 2022, and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2022.
