Jeremy (Junwei) Ma

Jeremy (Junwei) Ma has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and research. Jeremy (Junwei) is currently working as a Machine Learning Scientist at Layer 6 AI since January 2019. Prior to this, they worked at ModiFace as a Machine Learning Research Intern from May 2018 to December 2018, where they focused on deep learning model compression and worked on deep learning and vision tasks such as semantic segmentation and GANs. Jeremy (Junwei) also worked as an FPGA and Embedded Software Intern at Analog Devices from May 2015 to August 2016. Additionally, they gained research experience as a Research Assistant for Quantum Cryptography at the University of Toronto from May 2014 to September 2014.

Jeremy (Junwei) Ma pursued their education at the University of Toronto. Jeremy (Junwei) completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from 2012 to 2017. Following this, they enrolled in the university to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science, which they completed from 2017 to 2018.
