Valentin Villecroze

Valentin Villecroze has a range of work experience in the field of machine learning and AI. In 2017, they worked as a Programming Intern at the French Ministry for Armed Forces. In 2019, Valentin joined ViSenze - AI for Visual Commerce as a Machine Learning Intern, where they worked on developing tools for data scientists using Pytorch, MXNet, and Tensorflow. In 2020, they completed a research internship at Inria's Flowers team, focusing on emergent communication in multi-agent reinforcement learning. This experience resulted in a workshop paper. Valentin's most recent position was at Layer 6 AI, where they worked as a Research Intern and then transitioned to the role of Machine Learning Scientist. Valentin'sresponsibilities included creating machine learning models for TD Securities and conducting research in generative AI modeling.

Valentin Villecroze began their education in 2008 at the Ecole alsacienne, where they earned a French Scientific Baccalauréat with highest honors. From 2015 to 2017, they studied at Lycée Sainte-Geneviève, completing a Bachelor's degree in CPGE. In 2017, Valentin enrolled in École Polytechnique, where they pursued a Master's degree, specializing in Ingénieur polytechnicien with a focus on Mathematics and Computer Science. Continuing their education, in 2020, they joined the University of Toronto for a Master of Science in Applied Computing with a concentration in Data Science which they completed in 2021.
