Ari Litan

Ari Litan is the current Chief Operating Officer at LayerZero Labs. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Product Officer at The Athletic from June 2017 to March 2021. Before that, they were the Co-Founder and CEO of Swish from January 2015 to June 2017, which was acquired by The Athletic in 2017. From March 2014 to October 2014, they worked as a Product Manager at Main Street Genome. Prior to that, they worked as a Vice President at Morgan Stanley from May 2007 to March 2014. At Morgan Stanley, they ran the Emerging Markets Equity Derivatives market making book and was responsible for an annual PnL in the mid 8-figures. Ari also developed multiple proprietary trading strategies including equity-fx cross correlation arbitrage, multi-country emerging market dispersion, and Brazilian Index dispersion.

Ari Litan earned a BSE in Systems Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

Their manager is Bryan Pellegrino, Co-Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Ryan Zarick - Co-Founder & CTO, Richard Dietrich - Head of Talent, and Daniel P. Ahn - Head Of Research.
